Kick start your Life on earth (Duniya)…

This is your life and your body and soul. You are only going to live once on this earth (Duniya), and you will be traveling to the Hereafter with good deeds. Hopefully, you won’t be traveling light. The one who understands this, the one to get on the bandwagon of the worship of Allah subhan wa ta’ala early on, accumulates everything.

Narrated Ibn Abbas: The Prophet narrating about his Lord and, "Allah ordered (the appointed angels over you) that the good and the bad deeds be written, and He then showed (the way) how (to write). If somebody intends to do a good deed and he does not do it, then Allah will write for him a full good deed (in his account with Him); and if he intends to do a good deed and actually did it, then Allah will write for him (in his account) with Him (its reward equal) from ten to seven hundred times to many more times: and if somebody intended to do a bad deed and he does not do it, then Allah will write a full good deed (in his account) with Him, and if he intended to do it (a bad deed) and actually did it, then Allah will write one bad deed (in his account)." [Sahih Al-Bukhari, Volume 8, Hadith no. 498]

Narrated Abu Hurayrah, the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "The soul of a deceased believer is held back on account of his debt till the debt is discharged.” [Tirmidhi Hadith no. 301]

Be a pioneer and bring Islam to everyone.

The prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Convey from me, even if it be one ayah (verse)” [Sahih Al-Bukhari, translated by M.Muhsin Khan]
Rasool also said:"Whoever calls people to right guidance will have a reward like that of those who follow him, without that detracting from their reward in the slightest..." [Sahih Muslim]

They come on the Day of Resurrection and they see mountains of good deeds that they never imagined they would have had and it will be said to them this is because you weren’t lazy when other people were lazy. Some people will chase their good deeds like a mirage. Small particles (dust) floating in the light/air of ray is called Habba. All of their deeds will be scattered in the air like Habba. They will try to collect their deeds, but it’s scattered and all gone. Every time they chase, they would lose light. People would lose light that they cannot see their hands (pitch black). This is because if a fiendish person has good deeds, they will be given to people who were behaved unfairly by him/her. Allah Says:

"As for those who disbelieve, their deeds are as a mirage in a desert. The thirsty one supposes it to be water till he comes to it and finds it nothing, and finds, in the place of it, Allah Who pays him his due; and Allah is swift at reckoning. Or as darkness on a vast, abysmal sea. There covers him a wave, above which is a wave, above which is a cloud. Layer upon layer of darkness. When he holds out his hand he can scarcely see it. And he for whom Allah has not appointed light, for him there is no light." [An-Nur 24:39-40, Qur’an translated by M.Marmaduke Picthall]

“And We shall turn to whatever deeds they (in this life) did and We shall make such deeds as floating dust scattered about.” [al-Furqan 25:23]
“…So their works are in vain, and on the Day of Resurrection, We shall not give them any weight." [al-Kahf 18:105]

Recognize the opportunity, seize it, and kick start the worship of Allah (swt) by others.

Narrated Abu Hurayrah, Allah’s Messenger (peace be upon him) said, “Do you know the thing which most commonly brings people into Paradise? It is fear of Allah and good character. Do you know what most commonly brings people into Hell? It is the two hollow things: the mouth and the private parts.” [Tirmidhi Hadith no. 1240]

Narrated Abu Hurayrah, The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “The most perfect believer in respect of faith, is he who is best of them in manners. [Abu Dawud Hadith no. 2199]

But if you choose not to heed these words, to yawn and to be lazy, you are turning your back on the words of Allah subhan wa ta’ala. And the consequences will be grave, for the sunnah of creation, indeed the law of nature, stipulates that which does not contribute will be destroyed. What do you do with weeds in your garden? You pull them out, you get rid of them. What do you do when your nails get too long, when there is no purpose to their length? You snip them off, discard them in the trash. And so it is, as a community and as individuals in that community, if we are not contributing, and if we are not energetically producing, we will be deemed useless and we will be eliminated.

Allah subhan wa ta’ala says:
He sends down water from the skies, and the channels flow, each according to its measure: But the torrent bears away the foam that mounts up to the surface. Even so, from that (ore) which they heat in the fire, to make ornaments or utensils therewith, there is a scum likewise. Thus doth Allah (by parables) show forth Truth and Vanity. For the scum disappears like froth cast out; While that which is for the good of mankind remains on the earth. Thus doth Allah set forth parables. [Ar-Ra'd 13:17]

Even after you are gone, your good deeds will continue to benefit.

Narrated Abu Hurayrah, The Messenger of Allah said, “When a man dies, his acts come to an end, but three, recurring (ongoing) charity (Sadaqah Jariyah), or knowledge (by which people) benefit, or a pious son (offspring), who prays for him (for the deceased).” [Muslim, Hadith no. 766]

Allah, the Exalted One, says: "The parable of those who spend their substance in the way of Allah is that of a grain of corn: it groweth seven ears, and each ear hath a hundred grains. Allah giveth manifold increase to whom He pleaseth: Allah careth for all and knoweth all things" [al-Baqarah 2:261]

Example if you gave Fisabilillah (charity given on Allah’s Path). Then one pound or dollar is equal to 700. Financial term that is $1=$700  700*100%=70,000% increase on your Wealth or Return (in good deeds). What investment in this world will give you that Return?

Ponder the phenomenon of those who make dua absentmindedly, not knowing what it is that they are saying. They may even be yawning, confused, or focused on something else entirely. Allah is not paying attention to that person just like they are not paying attention to their dua. That is a dua that is not answered by Allah (swt). A dua that is answered is the one where the person’s heart and energy are invested in it. Allah will listen. If you can consistently take your dua to that level, you’ll see dramatic changes in your life.

Allah subhan wata'ala knows best.

O Allah, I seek protection in You from anxiety and grief, from powerlessness and laziness, from miserliness and cowardice, and from the burden of loans and from being overcome by men. Aameen.
