Recite: |
اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ صُمْتُ وَعَلَى رِزْقِكَ أَفْطَرْتُ
|
"O Allah, I have fasted for You and from the sustenance given by You, I break the fast". (Abu Dawood) |
After Iftaar |
Recite: |
ذَهَبَ الظَّمَأُ وَابْتَلَّتِ الْعُرُوقُ وَثَبُتَ الْأَجْرُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ
|
"The thirst has quenched and left wetness and with the will of Allah, reward is proven (certain)" (Abu Dawood) |
Making Iftaar at someone's place |
Recite: |
أَفْطَرَ عِنْدَكُمُ الصَّائِمُونَ وَأَكَلَ طَعَامَكُمُ الْأَبْرَارُ وَصَلَّتْ عَلَيْكُمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ
|
"May the fasting persons make Iftari with you, the righteous partake in your meals and the angels send mercy on you". (Ibn Maja) |
